House and Grounds

Features

Upon your arrival you will find a vintage basket filled with local seasonal fruits. There will be orange juice, water and half & half in the refrigerator, along with ice trays in the freezer. There will be menus featuring the breakfast items served during the mornings of your stay, and fresh flowers in every room. You will also find a small original painting by the artist, a gift to you for honoring us with your stay.

The Artist’s Cottage is over 240 years old, and much of its original features have been preserved. The bedrooms are located on the second floor and are only accessible via stairs. The sitting area in the Master bedroom maintains it’s original slanted ceilings, as does the second bedroom.
